Grambling State gets a fresh start

Hue Jackson represents the start of a new era of Grambling football, and the Grambling faithful is looking for him to hit the ground running in his inaugural season at the helm. From the looks of his first recruiting class, he looks to do exactly that.

The Tigers may not have the quantity or star power of some of the other recruiting hauls in the conference, but the quality of the class collectively raised enough eyebrows to be ranked 2nd in the conference behind Jackson State.

questions still remain on the offensive side of the ball, but the defensive scheme exhibited by Grambling during the spring bodes well for their overall prospects in the fall. The turnout at Grambling’s spring game speaks to the new energy the Tiger fanbase is feeling for this hire and the program’s immediate future.
