LB . Utah. Devin Lloyd . 15. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 54. player

Some lucky team is going to get a really good player in the middle of the first round of the 2022 NFL draft in Utah linebacker, Devin Lloyd. He was uber-productive for the Utes and while he is a little stiff in the hips in coverage, he’s a ball hawk. He intercepts the ball, forces fumbles, and is constantly around the football. He had four interceptions and seven sacks last season and the Eagles could use that kind of impact defender in their front seven.

QB . Liberty. 16. Scouting Report. 15. Pick Analysis. Malik Willis . player

The biggest surprise of this 2022 NFL mock draft might be the fact that our first quarterback isn’t coming off the board until 16th overall to the Saints, who are still looking for their Drew Brees replacement. Willis can sit behind Jameis Winston right away and with his upside, this would be a worthwhile risk for New Orleans.

Scouting Report. OT . 17. 13. Pick Analysis. Northern Iowa. Trevor Penning. player

The Chargers have a franchise quarterback and teams always like to protect that investment with first-round offensive lineman. Trevor Penning isn’t the biggest name but he’s moving up the boards leading up to the 2022 NFL draft and the 6-foot-7, 325-pounder can likely play either left or right tackle. He’s got all the tools to be a solid starter for a decade.
