If there’s one quarterback who I believe will raise his stock more than anyone this season and sneak into the first-round range of the 2023 NFL Draft, it’s Anthony Richardson.

With Emory Jones transferring to Arizona State, Richardson looks like the unquestioned starter, as long as he can stay healthy. That’s the biggest question mark heading into a redshirt sophomore season as he had some issues with his hamstring a year ago.

Richardson appeared in this year’s spring game and looked solid and I think he has what it takes to become one of the best quarterback prospects in a potentially-loaded 2023 class.

The dual-threat completed just 59 percent of his passes for 529 yards and six touchdowns but he. did have a little turnover issue, throwing five picks. He also rushed for 401 yards and three scores on 7.9 yards per attempt. He was explosive with his legs and if he can improve his accuracy and decision-making, he’s going to be one heck of a pro prospect.

Teams will be drooling over a 6-foot-4, 235-pound dual-threat quarterback with a rocket arm and speed to burn in next year’s draft.
