Can Bo Nix prove the good Bo is the true Bo?

If you’re an Auburn football fan, you are familiar with the good Bo Nix and the bad Bo Nix. Now, after transferring to Oregon, that’s the concern of Ducks fans.

But former Georgia DC Dan Lanning recruited Nix to Oregon to be his starting quarterback for a reason and it’s because he’s got all the ability in the world. Heck, we have seen it.

Nix has beaten Alabama and while he wasn’t spectacular, he threw for a touchdown, ran for a touchdown, and didn’t turn the ball over. In 2020, Nix completed 18-of-24 passes and threw for 300 yards, plus ran for 81 more in a win over LSU.

Nix also threw for 227 yards and three touchdowns in the 2020 season opener against Kentucky. Or, there was his 21-of-26 performance against Arkansas last season that included two touchdowns and one interception as well as 334 total yards (292 passing, 42 rushing).

Oregon has a really talented roster and with Lanning running the defense, that side of the ball should be elite. The question is going to be Nix. Can he be the good Bo for an entire season? Because if so, Oregon has a good shot to win the Pac-12 championship.
