Arkansas Football: Post-spring 2022 game-by-game predictions
Arkansas will face its toughest stretch of the season at the end of September into October and a two-game spell of Texas A&M and Alabama is an absolute gauntlet.
The Razorbacks do get Nick Saban and the Tide at home but that may not matter much because the 2022 version of Alabama will be the best team in college football behind the arm of Bryce Young.
Arkansas keeps it close for three quarters, but Alabama scores a couple of big ones late.
Final Score: Alabama 31, Arkansas 17 (3-2, 1-2)
Mike Leach is going to have Mississippi State more competitive this season than in recent memory but I still think the Bulldogs are a year or two away from really doing damage in the SEC.
That being said, no team likes to travel to Starkville. I think Arkansas is the clearly superior team in this matchup, but the Bulldogs are going to put up a heck of a fight and take the Razorbacks down to the wire. Arkansas wins on a field goal with about a minute left to improve to 4-2 and slide back to .500 in conference play.
Final Score: Arkansas 33, Mississippi State 30 (4-2, 2-2)
