Ole Miss deserves more love than it’s gotten to this point in the season.

The Rebels just had a chance to make a statement at home against a top-10 ranked Kentucky team and it did just that, coming up clutch with a late forced turnover in the red zone to seal the deal and come away with a 22-19 win.

Was it overly impressive? No, but a win’s a win. Beating a top-10 team in SEC play isn’t easy but Ole Miss just added a huge victory to that budding resume.

Will Levis was the better quarter between him and Jaxson Dart, but the latter played really well against a tough defense. He finished with 213 yards and an interception but never made the critical mistake that changed the game.

I think the AP voters will put Ole Miss in the top 10 because of this win because they love to overreact when one SEC team beats another that’s ranked in that top-10 range. We’ve seen it twice already.
