Tennessee had a bye week so therefore the Volunteers aren’t going to see much movement in the AP Top 25 except for maybe sliding up, but I’d take Oklahoma State moving up instead.

Tennessee has impressed me this season and Hendon Hooker is better than I had expected. He’s been one of the best quarterbacks in the SEC, but he has a tough stretch approaching and he’ll need to be on top of his game if the Volunteers hope to have a chance at competing for an SEC title.

The Volunteers may be the biggest surprise in the SEC so far this season outside of maybe how surprisingly bad Texas A&M has been.

Josh Heupel is proving a lot of doubters wrong and I hate to say it, but maybe Tennessee is back. It’s too early to really tell, but no one wants to face this team right now.
