College Football Rankings 2022: Projected AP Top 25 for Week 6
I’m buying all the stock in Oklahoma State right now.
I didn’t think the Cowboys were going to go on the road and absolutely control the game against Baylor, but they proved me wrong.
Spencer Sanders wasn’t great against a strong Baylor defense, but he didn’t make too many mistakes and he was just good enough to put the Cowboys in position to win the game. He finished 20-for-29 with 181 yards and a touchdown with an interception. He’s been really solid this year. Sanders also led all Oklahoma State rushers with 75 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries.
Was this a case of Baylor just making too many mistakes? Maybe, but Oklahoma State forced those mistakes. The defense came up clutch, forcing some big turnovers and picking up a massive road win over a top-20 conference foe.
Baylor is starting to look like the best team in the Big 12 right now and it’s not particularly close.
