College Football Rankings 2022: Projected AP Top 25 for Week 7
Ohio State had a scare against Michigan State — for about five minutes.
The Buckeyes quickly jumped out to a 7-0 lead early on the Spartans before CJ Stroud threw a pick-six and gave Michigan State some hope. But that 7-7 tie didn’t last for long as the Buckeyes just ran away with the win in East Lansing.
Stroud threw six touchdown passes and was taken out of the game by the end of the third quarter as his Heisman campaign looked alive and well. He also added 361 yards as the Buckeyes had over 600 total yards against a really bad Spartan defense.
TreVeyon Henderson rushed for over 100 yards and left the game late with an injury but this team was just a well-oiled machine.
The Buckeyes are just on fire right now and they have to stay top-three.
