College Football Playoff Rankings 2022: Projected Top 25 for Week 13
If you found yourself fast asleep by the end of the Georgia game this week, you weren’t alone. Heck, I think the Bulldogs fell asleep halfway through the game, leading just 9-0 at halftime and only adding a touchdown in the final 30 minutes to win 16-6. It was a snoozer.
And if Georgia was looking for style points against an average Kentucky team, it surely didn’t pick any up in Week 12.
If Stetson Bennett had any Heisman hopes heading into Week 12, they were dashed by a forgettable 116-yard, zero-touchdown performance against the Wildcats. He threw a pick and had just a 75 QBR. Not a great game for him.
But luckily for the Bulldogs, the run game carried the load with 247 yards and a score and the defense held Will Levis to just 206 yards and a score.
Georgia will remain No. 1 because, well, it’s still unbeaten and it’s the defending national champion.
