College Football Playoff Rankings 2022: Projected Top 25 for Week 14
Oh man, I don’t even know where to begin with Ohio State.
The Buckeyes lost for a second straight year to Michigan as Ryan Day now has a losing record against the Wolverines which is unheard of nowadays. He’s probably going to have a much warmer seat this offseason as another loss to Michigan next year will likely spell the end of his tenure.
Ohio State had an opportunity to clinch a spot in the College Football Playoff with a revenge win in Columbus but Day’s team just looked unprepared and out-toughed. Unacceptable.
CJ Stroud’s Heisman campaign took a massive hit with this loss and so did Ohio State’s playoff hopes. It will take a lot to happen for Ohio State to make the field, but I still think the committee will have the one-loss Buckeyes ahead of the two-loss Crimson Tide but it’s going to be close.
Still a chance here, but USC’s win over Notre Dame didn’t help.
