College Football Playoff Rankings 2022: Projected Top 25 for Week 14

Georgia had somewhat of a “bye” in Week 13 with Georgia Tech but the Bulldogs still didn’t exactly run away with a 37-14 win.

We’ve seen this a few times this year with Georgia where the Bulldogs coast in the first half and they did that on Saturday with a 10-7 lead going into halftime. They out-scored the Yellow Jackets 27-7 in the final 30 minutes to pick up a three-score win and improve to 12-0 on the season.

Kirby Smart has yet another national title favorite as the Bulldogs are going into the SEC title game with basically a guaranteed spot in the playoff. The Bulldogs could lose in the title game and likely hold on to a top three spot but I think they’re probably going to end the season as the No. 1 team.

It’s too bad Stetson Bennett’s Heisman campaign has come to an end over these last few weeks because he’s been so good this year.
