Is anyone surprised that Georgia boat raced LSU in the SEC title game? You shouldn’t be.
The Bulldogs have been darn near dominant all season long and they picked up another big win on Saturday afternoon, beating No. 14 LSU by 20 points and the game honestly never felt close. They were up 35-10 at halftime and it was just time to coast after that.
With the convincing win, the Bulldogs have locked up that No. 1 seed in the playoff and they escaped the last test before getting there.
Stetson Bennett is playing some of the best football of his career at the right time as he threw for 274 yards and four touchdowns against the Tigers and although the Georgia defense allowed about 550 total yards, I think it’s going to be motivated to clean some things up there before the playoff.
