I couldn’t choose just one receiver since both Jaden Greathouse and Braylon James are top-150 talents with the potential to make the two-deep right away.

Greathouse is 6-1.5 and 225 pounds and his strong frame makes him a tough cover for smaller cornerbacks who aren’t as physical. Some thought he could translate to a tight end at the next level, but he’s so good at receiver and moves well that it just makes sense to leave him there.

I could see him becoming a quarterback’s favorite target in a year or two, but he should have a decent role right away, especially since he’s enrolling early and Braden Lenzy and Matt Salerno are both gone.

I really like James and I could honestly see him pushing for a starting spot early on. He’s a top-150 recruit and he’s approaching the top 100 on 247Sports.

James has a good frame and he’s fast. He can blow by defenders and he is also a guy who could go up and snag a jump ball. He’s going to be a really good receiver at Notre Dame and I would not be shocked to see him on the field early on after enrolling early.

My money is on James to play a big role for the Irish in 2023.
