Season Overview: The Colorado Buffaloes were the worst football program in the Power Five and one of the worst programs in FBS in 2022. Offensively, the Buffs scored over 20 points three times and were held under ten points three times. Defensively, Colorado allowed over 40 points ten times this past season. Former head coach Karl Dorell was fired as a result.
2023 Outlook: The Deion Sanders era started in Boulder. There hasn’t been this type of buzz around the program since the early 1900s. There is only one way to go for the program, and that is up. Sanders has flipped the roster through the transfer portal and put together a solid recruiting class considering the timeline. Hopefully, the changes can result in more wins for the Buffs.
