Zxavian Harris was the top-ranked commit in Ole Miss’ 2022 class and yet he didn’t see the field a ton as a true freshman. He finished the season with just three total tackles and 0.5 tackles for loss, but his second year in the program should yield more snaps and even more production.

Harris is waiting to see what JJ Pegues decides to do, but if he goes pro, there’s a chance he could slide into a starting role at nose tackle in 2023.

Size is not a concern for Harris as he’s 6-foot-8 and 335 pounds and he should be a problem for opposing defenses next season.

Harris was the No. 136 overall player and 20th-best defensive tackle in the 2022 class and he’s going to live up to that lofty ranking this season with some big-time numbers on the SEC stage.

We’re going to see Harris live in backfields for years to come.
