2. Wisconsin (on the road Nov. 18)

This is one of the most interesting games on the schedule for Nebraska football because the Badgers are also undergoing some big changes.

Maybe even bigger changes than at Nebraska. The Huskers have been trying to change for the better part of two decades. They haven’t really found an identity since Frank Solich was fired.

Bo Pelini made dominating defense the identity for a while but it didn’t stick, things didn’t end well and Nebraska football hasn’t recovered from firing him either.

Wisconsin has known its identity but wants to start throwing the ball more under new head coach Luke Fickell which is why he hired Joe Longo away from North Carolina and landed former SMU QB Tanner Mordecai.

Wisconsin and Iowa are probably my favorites to win the Big Ten West going into the season, although the division feels wide open. Winning at Camp Randall is always really hard, especially in November and that’s why this game is No. 2.
