Texas A&M football: 3 freshmen who’ll have the biggest impacts in 2023
Fans should be really excited about Rueben Owens. The freshman running back needed a strong spring to really make a push for that starting job and it looks like he may have just done that as multiple experts believe he’s heading into the year as the RB1.
Beating out Le’Veon Moss and Amari Daniels won’t be easy, but it looks like Owens is on track to be that starting running back.
And if he does win the starting job, there’s a good chance he’ll be a freshman All-American. He has all the tools to be a star running back in the SEC and that Texas A&M offensive line could pave the way for a huge year.
Owens was a five-star in the 2023 class and the third-best running back in the country. He’s going to have a major impact right away even if he doesn’t start.
I’m buying all the stock in Owens before he blows up.
