College Football Rankings 2023: Projected AP Top 25 for Week 9
Georgia could use this bye week as Week 7 was basically a nightmare when it comes to injuries. The Bulldogs lost superstar tight end Brock Bowers for the remainder of the regular season, it seems, and Carson Beck even dealt with an ankle injury but should be fine moving forward.
The Bulldogs may not be quite as dominant as they’ve been in the past couple of years but they’ve been getting better throughout the year.
The main reason for the growth throughout the season has been Beck gaining confidence and becoming one of the better pure passers in the SEC despite some early-season criticism from his own fans.
The Bulldogs will come off a bye next week to face rival Florida in the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party. I’m excited for this one.
Georgia will remain No. 1 in Week 9.
