3. Kansas State (5-2, 3-1 conference)

Kansas State had a statement win this week against TCU. Quarterback Will Howard threw for 154 yards and three touchdown passes. The running game came in clutch, with three running backs rushing for more than 70 yards each. Both of their losses on the season were one-score games, and KState is looking more like the KState of 2022. They take on Houston this week at home.

2. Texas (6-1, 3-1 conference)

Texas looked to come out of the bye week fresh and rejuvenated after the heartbreaking loss to Oklahoma. They started the game strong but had to defend against a renewed Houston team in the 4th quarter. Ewers had 2 touchdown passes and 211 yards before leaving the game early with an injury. Texas now loses Ewers for a few weeks and has a matchup against rising BYU this week.

1. Oklahoma (7-0, 4-0 conference)

Oklahoma remains undefeated and both non-conference and Big 12 conference play. They came out of their bye week believing UCF would be an easy win, but they ended up giving the Sooners a run for their money. The teams when into halftime tied at 17, but Oklahoma came alive in the 4th quarter, scoring back-to-back touchdowns and forcing UCF to answer. They came up short and OU looks toward the college football playoff. They face off against Kansas this week for Big Noon Kickoff.
