College Football Predictions: Picks for Top games of Week 9

Ohio State (-14.5) at Wisconsin (NBC, 7:30 PM EST)

Ohio State notched another important win last week against Penn State, which gives the Buckeyes two solid wins on their resume.

We’ll where the committee has them ranked if they are able to win at Wisconsin. The one thing the Buckeyes have going for them is a shot at an at-large berth due to those wins, especially if Notre Dame keeps winning.

So in addition to rooting for the Buckeyes, Ohio State fans need to cheer for Notre Dame and Penn State too. As far as Wisconsin, it’s an interesting matchup. The Badgers lead the Big Ten West but scored 6 points at home against Iowa two weeks ago.

Wisconsin won’t have its starting quarterback. Brendan Locke wasn’t great in the loss to Iowa and Ohio State shouldn’t have much trouble. I expect Marvin Harrison Jr. to make a few wow plays in a 21-point win for OSU.
