Riley Leonard

After his visit last weekend, Riley Leonard has committed to Notre Dame. It’s not a surprise at this point. The first crystal balls for the Irish started coming as soon as he entered the portal.

It’s similar to the move to add Sam Hartman. Leonard is the No. 5 transfer portal quarterback according to 247 Sports. Leonard has just 24 career touchdown passes and had just three last season in seven games, but with an upgraded roster, Leonard should shine.

Kyle McCord

McCord was one of the biggest surprises in terms of transfer portal entrants. He won 11 games as a starter for Ohio State last season, threw for 3,100 yards, and 24 touchdown passes.

Nebraska has been pushing hard for the former Buckeye. The former five-star quarterback took a visit to Nebraska this week. Julian Fleming, a former teammate and wide receiver at Ohio State, is also expected to visit Nebraska.

The Huskers are trending as the favorite for Kyle McCord and 2024 five-star quarterback Dylan Raiola, which could be quite the haul for Nebraska football, especially if they can hang onto Daniel Kaelin too.

Kaelin was an Elite 11 quarterback, just like Dylan Raiola and the Huskers may have three former Elite 11 passers on their roster at the end of the week.
