In the SEC showdown with the Ole Miss Rebels, the Alabama Crimson Tide may need all the weapons they can get to keep up with this rapidly growing program.

One thing they don’t need is to play this game without their starting tailback, TJ Yeldon, being 100% healthy and that seems, unfortunately, that that’s the case at the moment.

Yeldon left the game early on and was being worked on by the training crew for what appears to be a leg injury. He was being worked on on the sidelines as well as spending some time on the bike to work out whatever it was that happened.

There hasn’t been any definitive report as to what the issue is, although Yeldon has battled hamstring issues in the past at some points.

It would be a massive blow for the Tide if they weren’t able to utilize their dynamic back, especially in a game where many have put them on upset alert.

UPDATE: Yeldon has returned to the game late in the second quarter and has carried the ball twice. However, we’ll keep an eye on his status throughout the game, should anything change.
