Despite a brief lapse from the top spot, Alabama’s shutout of Ole Miss Saturday powered the Crimson Tide back to No. 1 in the FanSided Top 25. Oregon snatched the top ranking last week, and was just three points off the lead in the Week 6 voting.

Oregon’s Pac-12 rival Stanford Cardinal earned one first place vote. Stanford is No. 3, edging out Clemson and Ohio State, which round out the Top 5.

The SEC remains the most well represented conference with six teams in the Top 25. The Pac-12 checks in with five by virtue of Arizona State’s return to the poll. The Big 12 has four, and the Big Ten and ACC both have three.
