Alabama running back Kenyan Drake has been arrested for obstructing government operations, according to AL.com.

Drake, who has been a backup in his first two seasons at Alabama and was expected to push Derrick Henry for the starting gig this season, is said to have entered a crime scene after being told to stay away. The details can be found in AL.com’s report.

"Drake’s vehicle was parked inside a crime scene and he ignored orders to stay outside the scene, Tuscaloosa Police Spokesman Sgt. Brent Blankley told AL.com.“He was trying to cross a crime scene,” Blankley said. “We had a shooting and his vehicle was parked inside the crime scene. We told him that he could not get his vehicle and he tried to cross the crime scene anyway so he could get his vehicle. Officers arrested him for obstructing government operations.”"

If there is anything we can take away from this is that Drake does not have the virtue of patience.

Blake has secured a bondsman and should be released at some point soon, if he hasn’t already. This is a misdemeanor offense so he shouldn’t have to serve any lengthy jail time.

Alabama head coach Nick Saban has yet to release a statement.
