Let’s be honest, the UCLA Bruins are loaded. Like, ridiculously loaded. Loaded and young, with returning starters all over the field.

So how good can they be in Jim Mora, Jr.’s third year coming off of a 10-3 season and being led by a very good quarterback? Bruins fans are thinking Pac 12 title and a berth in the college football playoff.

For that to happen, though, a lot has to go right. They still have to take significant strides to get on Stanford’s and Oregon’s levels after both teams beat them pretty easily this year.

They get both at home this year, which should help, but it might not be enough to win them. Also, don’t sleep on the fact that USC could be back quickly this year under Steve Sarkisian, and the Bruins have to go to Arizona State, who beat them in Pasadena last year.

All things considered, winning the Pac 12 is not going to be easy, but Mora has helped the program certainly taken significant strides to put it in position to do that.
