Alabama Wide Receiver Earns Block Of The Day [Vine]

If you haven’t been watching the Alabama-West Virginia game (and why haven’t you???) then you missed an insane block by Alabama Crimson Tide wide receiver Amari Cooper. Cooper, who has 10 catches for 105 yards in only two-and-a-half quarters, laid this block on a West Virginia foe while trying to create some extra space for Alabama Blake Sims.

How did Cooper create this space? Watch:

Alabama is holding onto a 27-17 lead against West Virginia, but the score doesn’t really indicate how close this game has been. It was 20-17 at halftime after a field goal as time was expiring. Bama definitely has some issues on special teams and in the front seven that they are going to need to get worked out.

Also: Kevin White has been spectacular in this game for West Virginia.

No matter right now for Bama as they are still in the lead and grinding their way towards a week one win (maybe). But nothing that happens tonight will take away from the lick Cooper laid in the first half.
