  • It all started with the first game Thursday night, as Texas A&M thumped South Carolina on the road, proving to the college football world that they are much more than just Johnny Manziel. That followed with an Ole Miss thrashing of Boise State but an embarrassing loss to Temple by Vanderbilt.

Then came Saturday, with Alabama struggling to put away West Virginia, Georgia dismantling Clemson, and LSU winning a thriller against Wisconsin. Oh, and Florida’s game against Idaho being postponed due to severe weather is an interesting storyline in itself.

Apologies to everybody ahead of time, but it won’t be the same this week. In what can only be described as the worst scheduling ever done by a conference, there is not one intriguing game this week. This will almost certainly be the most boring SEC Saturday ever.

The only conference game is Ole Miss and Vanderbilt, which will likely be a blowout. The other 11 games are all SEC teams against non-Power Five schools, and three of them are against non-FBS schools. Georgia has a bye. Yawn.

So enjoy watching SEC teams dismantle mediocre competition all week. Here are our predictions.
