What can the ACC do for an encore? Last weekend was one of the most exciting weekends we have seen in a long time from the ugly red-headed stepchild among the College Football Power Five conferences. And that’s not even fair. Plenty of redheads are very cute.

But last week, the ACC did everything to show it belonged with the others. Miami gave the Florida State Seminoles an incredibly tough fight, and this one was legitimate because you can bet FSU took that game more seriously than others. Virginia Tech pulled off an epic upset over Duke. And Georgia Tech showed just how good they are by dominating Clemson.

So again, as we get set to bring you our Week 13 Vegas ACC Predictions, how can the conference top last weekend?

You can start by tuning into Louisville at Notre Dame, a game between two great football teams fighting to keep a spot in the Top 25 at year’s end. Florida State gets another potential upset game against Boston College. Could they struggle again? Also, Duke-North Carolina is on Thursday night, and we aren’t talking about college basketball. Nope, this is a huge football game between the two, with one fighting to hold onto their ACC  Coastal Division lead and another trying to get to a bowl game.

More from ACC

In short, we have a lot of great college football games in the conference coming up this weekend, so know that last weekend may not have been a fluke. This is still a conference that is open among championship contenders, has a College Football Playoff contender fighting to stay undefeated, has a plethora of teams fighting to get to a bowl game, and has a high number of teams trying to be in the Top 25 as well.

All of those things make this weekend of ACC games just as important as any other weekend’s slate of games would be. So don’t turn off your television sets Thursday night or at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

You’ll miss some very good football if you do. And with those games, here are our College Football Week 13 Vegas ACC Predictions.
