Here’s what last Saturday did in helping us narrow down our College Football Playoff Projections: absolutely nothing. To be fair, we didn’t expect it to, but with seven teams in the Power Five that are either undefeated or have one loss, we’re still stuck with the same situation we were last week.

And all of these teams could end up with one loss at the end of the season, making it very difficult to determine who the Top Four teams in the country are.

In short, the College Football Playoff Selection Committee has a lot of work to do unless it can get some serious help between now and the end of next Saturday. Time is running out.

As we get set to bring you our College Football Playoff projections for Week 14, we also have a plethora of 2-loss teams that still could be in the College Football Playoff race. That’s where the one change happened over the weekend, as a couple of them were eliminated. But plenty still exist and could make a strong case to be in the Playoff if things go right.

Imagine the twist that would come the Selection Committee’s way if that happens. It is still a possibility.

Remember, our projections are based on where teams are ranked in our Saturday Blitz Top 25, whom they play the rest of the way, and how that will affect their schedule strength. There is no margin of victory or predictions of who will win what in these.

So with the hope that things get a little bit easier this week, but with the expectation that they won’t here are our College Football Playoff Projections going into Week 14 of the college football season.
