Two former Vanderbilt Commodores football players have been found guilty of rape, according to The Tennessean.

"The rape happened in a span of 30 minutes. The case has been pending 19 months. The trial took 12 days. The jury deliberations took just a little more than 3 hours.When the verdicts came in at 4:52 p.m. Tuesday, former Vanderbilt University football players Brandon Vandenburg and Cory Batey were found guilty in the rape of an unconscious woman in a dorm on June 23, 2013. The announcement took less than four minutes."

Oklahoma Sooners Safety Hatari Byrd has been sited for a drug and alcohol-related misdemeanor, according to The Tulsa World.

"Oklahoma safety Hatari Byrd was cited early Jan. 24 in Norman on complaints of possession of drug paraphernalia by a minor and possession of alcohol by a minor.According to incident report, police observed the 20-year-old Byrd driving left of the center line and right of lane markers and speeding on East Lindsey just past 2 a.m. Jan. 24. The officer who pulled Byrd over discovered a small plastic bag of marijuana in the driver seat and a bottle of Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey in the passenger floorboard."

Nebraska picked up a commitment from Safety Willie Sykes of Texas Tuesday, according to Rivals.

"Spring, Texas safety recruit Willie Sykes took an official visit to Washington State the weekend of January 16 and verbally pledged to play for the Cougars shortly thereafter.But the 5-foot-11, 185-pound safety prospect still took his official visit to Nebraska the weekend after and it was enough to sway him to play for the Cornhuskers’ program in college."

2016 Quarterback Messiah deWeaver announced on Twitter that he has decommitted from Michigaan, according to Rivals.

"deWeaver is a 6-3, 200-pounder ranked the No. 219 overall player and No. 7 pro-style quarterback in the 2016 class. He is also the No. 8 prospect in the state of Ohio.With his decommitment, Michigan’s 2016 class is down to two pledges, four-stars Erik Swenson (an offensive lineman from the Chicago area) and Dele’ Harding (a linebacker from Maryland)."
