Hamm is the nation’s No. 305 overall recruit, No. 31 offensive tackle and the No. 23 recruit in the state of Georgia, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. He had offers from the SEC elite with Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Georgia, Missouri and Mississippi State among his offers before picking Tennessee.

The 6-4, 327-pound Hamm is listed as a tackle but could project to guard at the next level or at least give the team some options and versatility should them think his frame and skill-set is best suited in the interior or on the perimeter.

Hamm previously visited Tennessee for the school’s Junior Day in March and visited LSU, Alabama, Georgia and Auburn this spring but after arriving on Rocky Top for the spring game on Saturday knew that this was the place he wanted to play his college football.

Tennessee has recruited extremely well in the last two years and have the makings of another top-10 class after adding Hamm. With the addition of the massive lineman, Tennessee now has five, four-star recruits and the nation’s No. 12 class, according to the 247Sports team rankings.
