These college football uniforms aren’t the most flashy but their iconic and classic look places them among the best old school looks in the game today.

Who would have thought 20 years ago that college football uniforms would play a role in recruiting, let alone one that can be one of the final deciding factors in a recruit’s decision.

In an era where facility upgrades are a billion dollar industry and programs looking for every last advantage to sell a recruit on playing for their team, uniforms got a makeover, often a dramatic one at that.

These programs remained true to their classic look when they could have followed the trend and designed a handful of wild and maybe even one hideous alternate uniform in the process and been the butt of jokes.

After reading through the list, please leave your thoughts in the comments section with your pick for the best old school uniform in college today and which team was the biggest snub.

Without further ado, hare are the top 20 old school uniforms in college football.
