The No. 1 pick in the 1999 NFL Draft, Tim Couch cemented his legacy as a Kentucky Wildcat legend. He had high expectations before he even touched the field, with the front office saying he would win at least six playoff games as a Cleveland Brown.

He was able to lead the Browns to a playoff appearance, but injuries plagued his career. Couch just couldn’t catch a break, fracturing his thumb and leg, ending two seasons early. He would only go on to start for five seasons with the Browns before they turned to Kelly Holcomb.

While he had a lot more starts than most on this list, he just couldn’t things going. But he had an atrocious offensive line and was also playing for an organization such as the Cleveland Browns, who have had countless quarterbacks since the turn of the decade.
