Vegas has released their first win total projections for the 2016 college football season and two teams from last year’s College Football Playoff are among the four teams projected to get the most wins this year.

The college football season is a little more than three months away from getting underway, but there’s never a bad time to talk about gambling and betting on the great sports.

The Golden Nugget released projected win totals and the juice accompanying each win total so potential bettors can see how much they stand to win based on their $10 wager. For example, -120 means a bettor wagers $12 to win $10.

The Clemson Tigers, Florida State Seminoles, Tennessee Volunteers and Oklahoma Sooners are projected to get the most wins this year at 10. Clemson and Oklahoma played each other in a College Football Playoff Semifinal last year with the Tigers advancing to the title game.

It was in that title game that saw the Alabama Crimson Tide win their fourth title in the last seven years but Vegas must have some doubts about how Nick Saban will replace Heisman Trophy Derrick Henry because they come in with a 9.5 win projection, the same as SEC West rival LSU and Jim Harbaugh’s Michigan Wolverines.

Vegas is not feeling the Ohio State Buckeyes or the Stanford Cardinal right now with those teams projected to win 8.5 and 8 games, respectively, so if you’re looking for easy money, I’d be betting on the over for Urban Meyer and David Shaw’s teams.
