The Florida State Seminoles enter Week 2 unscathed after their 45-34 victory over Ole Miss as Deondre Francois looks ready to lead the offense…

The Florida State Seminoles came out in their Week 1 opener looking a bit shell shocked in the beginning but bounced back.

Second half adjustments proved effective for the Seminoles, going on a 30-0 scoring run on their way to a major victory in the process.

Florida State Seminoles quarterback Deondre Francois threw the ball for 419 passing yards and two touchdowns. Seminoles running back Dalvin Cook ran the ball 23 times for 91 yards.

Seminoles defensive end Demarcus Walker recorded six tackles, 4.5 sacks and a forced fumble, all to lead the way for the defense.

The Seminoles should have an easier time this with the Charleston Southern Buccaneers. The Buccaneers will be without 14 players this week, due to Draconian NCAA policies.

The Charleston Southern Buccaneers are an FCS opponent that is currently 1-1 on the season. The Buccaneers are coming off a 57-7 victory over Kentucky State.

Charleston Southern is 0-16 against FBS opponents.

Florida State Seminoles running back Dalvin Cook should play a larger role this week, as he went scoreless last week. Look for the offensive line to play better as well, giving Seminoles quarterback Deondre Francois better pass protection.
