These two Pac-12 teams have gotten off to a quick start this season. With conference play underway, look to stay fresh with a win this week…

The California Golden Bears began the season unranked in the AP Top 25 but with last week’s upset victory over 11th ranked Texas, they’re close.

Despite losing in Week 2 to the San Diego State Aztecs, the Golden Bears two wins this season have come from the arm of quarterback Davis Webb.

Webb was 27 for 40 with 396 passing yards and four touchdowns in the Golden Bear 50-43 victory over Texas.

The Texas Tech graduate transfer threw for 441 passing yards and four touchdowns in the team’s season opening victory over Hawaii 51-31.

It’s the Golden Bears defense that has struggled to keep pace with the offense. They allow 39.7 points per game, 117th in the nation.

If the defense can slow the Sun Devils offense (9th ranked scoring offense), they could get their first Pac-12 victory of the season.

The Arizona State Sun Devils are off to a 3-0 start with a huge win over Texas Tech in Week 2. They look to keep their undefeated season alive this season against the California Golden Bears.

The Sun Devils score 39 points per game while averaging 81 plays and 525.7 yards of total offense per game. This foreshadows what could possibly be a very high scoring and fast paced game.

Arizona State uses a balanced attack on offense as well averaging well over 250 rushing yards and 250 passing yards a game.

Running back Kalen Ballage has nine rushing touchdowns so far this season. Ballage scored seven touchdowns on just 13 carries in the Sun Devils 68-55 win over Texas Tech. He also caught a receiving touchdown in the game.
