Oregon Ducks Mascot Dresses up for Halloween

With it being Halloween weekend and all, the Oregon Ducks mascot decided to show up in his own costume for Saturday’s game against Arizona State.

Halloween is just a couple of days away, and apparently even the college football mascots are trying to find ways to celebrate the holiday this weekend.

The Oregon Ducks took on the Arizona State Sun Devils in a Pac-12 showdown on Saturday. Plenty of fans were dressed up in the stadium, but so was the Oregon mascot, the Oregon Duck.

To celebrate Halloween, the Oregon mascot dressed up as a bear for Halloween. It’s pretty fantastic considering Oregon is known for always showing up in new outfits on a weekly basis. It’s especially funny since the Duck rarely dresses up in anything besides the typical uniform.

All jokes aside, this was still a very big game for the Ducks. They came into Saturday’s contest with just a 2-5 record, which is incredibly disappointing for a program that has consistently been one of the top programs in the nation for the better part of the past decade.

Now, all the Ducks are asking for is another win. On the bright side, at least their mascot still has a sense of humor. A bear probably isn’t the best costume, however, considering the Ducks just lost to the California Golden Bears in a 52-49 shootout in their previous game.

Oh well, at least the mascot is still having fun this season.
