After losses throughout the AP Top 25 in Week 12, what will the poll look like as we head into a Thanksgiving weekend filled with rivalry games?

Thursday proved a night of upsets, as two AP Top 25 teams tumbled against unranked teams. Louisville will fall down the poll this week, but while their hopes of reaching the College Football Playoff are dashed it is unlikely that they will be shut out of a New Year’s Six bowl game after falling to Houston team projected to return to the rankings this week.

Troy, on the other hand, is going to fall right back out of the AP Top 25 after making their first-ever appearance in the poll last week. The Trojans were toppled 35-3 by an Arkansas State team that is now the sole leader in the Sun Belt. Their loss was Houston’s gain, as it allows the pollsters to swap out one Group of Five team for another without any remorse.

Boise State stemmed the tide for Top 25 teams by winning on Friday night, paving the way for Saturday action in which there were three different showdowns between two ranked teams.
