Yale vs Harvard game delayed as students moon field

If you thought that Ivy League students didn’t know how to celebrate wins in classic college student fashion, you would be wrong.

The Yale Bulldogs and Harvard Crimson played in a classic Ivy League football game on Saturday. Unfortunately, not all of the fans were as classy as you would expect, especially coming from such prestigious programs.

Saturday’s game was a close one, but the Bulldogs were able to take a lead late in the fourth quarter off of a three-yard pass from Kurt Rawlings to Reed Klubnik. The Bulldogs went on to win the game 21-14 to move to 3-7 on the season, pulling off the upset over the 7-3 Crimson.

However, near the end of the contest, the game had to be delayed due to some rowdy Yale students in their student section. In fact, 12 students stood up on the front row and stripped completely naked so that they could moon the players on the field.

You can check out the incident from the Yale students below (WARNING: The following photo is relatively NSFW).

The game was delayed and police had to intervene, but the contest did eventually end with a Yale win. We’re honestly surprised that Yale students would celebrate like this considering their reputation.

Then again, college students are known for doing all kinds of dumb things to celebrate their teams winning. Earlier this season, a Georgia Bulldogs fan freaked out due to a win over Missouri by running his head through a glass window.

Hopefully these students don’t make this a recurring thing after any more victories.
