A bizarre postseason is unfolding. Rarely is the bowl season as unpredictable this deep into the regular season as it is this year. Michael Felder at In The Bleachers wrote an interesting take on how non-automatic qualifiers TCU and Southern Miss could make history as the first to receive berths despite a blemish. - Of personal note, Week 12 is a biggie for the author’s alma mater, Arizona. The Wildcats can make some amends for an atrocious 2011 with a win in the Duel in the Desert. Arizona State has struggled through its own disappointment with consecutive Pac-12 losses to UCLA and Washington State, but despite the struggles, this remains a potentially historic year for some Devils per House of Sparky.
