Last week, Mila Kunis’ interview with a nervous BBC reporter became a viral sensation. The co-star of Oz: The Great and Powerful was a good sport, offering some assistance and off-the-cuff remarks.

One such remark was her love of purple. In one of the more interesting branding moves, some folks with the Northwestern Wildcats picked up on that comment ran with it. A Mila Kunis Northwestern football jersey appeared on the athletic program’s official Twitter account Tuesday.

Northwestern introduced new uniforms last season in conjunction with Under Armour. Finding an avenue for Kunis to sport the Wildcats’ purple duds would be a huge marketing win both for Northwestern, and Under Armour.

Wildcat athletics are no strangers to unique marketing. The department appealed to Heisman voters before the 2011 season, promoting quarterback Dan Persa with a media kit that included a set of purple dumb bells.
