Jack Hoffman Joins Nebraska QB Taylor Martinez At The ESPYs
By Kyle Kensing
Since his touchdown rush at the Nebraska Cornhuskers spring football game in April, 7-year-old Jack Hoffman has had his own Upper Deck trading card, finished chemotherapy and been made an honorary Cincinnati Bengal.
Now, Jack Hoffman is taking Hollywood.
On Wednesday, Nebraska quarterback Taylor Martinez posted the below photo to his Instragram of the Husker duo at the ESPY Awards in Los Angeles:
Jack’s touchdown carry is up for an award at the annual sports gala, hosted by ESPN. Martinez made the hand-off to Jack, who promptly scurried 69 yards down the Memorial Stadium field.
A huge Cornhusker fan, Jack has become a member of the team in recent months. His courage against brain cancer has inspired the team and captivated millions of college football fans.
I know I am rooting for Jack Hoffman to win tonight.
