So blogging about college football uniforms is a tedious task, because teams seem to unveil new duds almost daily. Unless it’s something completely off-the-wall or part of a larger rebranding,
Well, the new Miami uniforms that hit social media on Wednesday fit the former bill. Miami — that’s the one in Oxford, Ohio, if you’re wondering — introduced a new look that some might deem unique.
Others? Well, they used a different u-word:

Some other reactions included “looks like Maryland’s rejects,” “George Jetson/adidas BS,” and “[q]uite possibly the worst uniform.”
Of course, when it comes to college football uniforms, everyone is a self-appointed fashionista. The unorthodox look has its support, too.

One of the key motivators behind these uniform launch campaigns is to pique interest, and Miami has certainly accomplished that.
