Photo: Western Michigan to honor 1966 team with helmet decals

The Western Michigan football team will honor its first ever Mid-American Conference Championship team by wearing special helmet decals Saturday.
In 1966, the Broncos went 7-3 and shared the MAC Championship title with Miami (Ohio).
WMU hosts Buffalo for its homecoming game at 2 p.m. Saturday and will wear the old-style decals the 1966 team used during its historic run.
