Maybe it isn’t fair to hold Holgorsen to a high standard during the transition to the Big 12; he has only been the head man at West Virginia for three years, and two of that has been a journey trying to adapt to a new conference. The problem with WVU the last couple years is the lack of depth on the roster. Since starting 2012 5-0, the Mountaineers have gone 6-14, and have had one of the worst defenses in the conference. The addition of Tom Bradley should help the progress, and it isn’t time to pull the plug on the Holgorsen just yet. He knows that he needs depth to compete in the Big 12, and is making the point to accomplish this, but the seat will be getting hotter after a poor 2014.
