The Gamecocks are set in the kicking game, starting with senior punter Tyler Hull. Hull is not going to be the difference maker in any game, averaging only 37.8 yards per punt, but he was able to put 10 of his 46 punts inside the 20, and 15 were fair caught. As long as he can be consistent, he’ll be reliable enough for an offense that isn’t looking to punt much anyway.

Sophomore kicker Elliott Fry, meanwhile, is a gigantic weapon for the offense to have. As a freshman, his growing pains only consisted of missing 1 extra point and only 1 field goal under 40 yards. But he was 15 of 18 on kicks overall and went 6 of 8 on kicks 40 yards and beyond, so he’s got lots of accuracy, mental toughness, and leg strength.
