One huge reason not to expect a drop-off from the Aggies is the return of a great kicking game. Starting at punter, junior Drew Kaser nailed 17 of his 44 punts inside the 20 yards line and averaged more than 47 yards per punt. That’s incredible! Look for him to be a potential Ray Guy Award finalist this year, and if the offense turns more into a ball-control, run offense, he’ll be used even more. No problem there with his abilities.

At kicker, junior Josh Lambo is back after nailing 8 of 10 kicks last year, only missing 1 field goal under 40 yards, and nailing 3 of 4 kicks beyond 40 yards. That one miss, by the way, was beyond 50 yards. So up to 49 yards he was 8 of 9. This position, like the punting position, is also set, and it is underestimated just how good a kicking game can be in football when your kicker is reliable where he needs to be (under 40) and can make the tough kicks when called upon as well. Look for him to possibly be a Groza Award candidate. Continue to Next Slide for Final Analysis and Prediction
