Texas A&M Aggies Will Not Miss Johnny Manziel
Prediction
The Texas A&M Aggies are carrying themselves like one of the Top 10 programs in the country right now, maybe Top 5. And they might have a right to.

With Sumlin, after winning in the SEC with a Heisman quarterback who is now in the NFL, the team looks to be a staple in the Top 25, is staying in the Top 5 every year in recruiting, and, here comes the best part, dominating recruiting in the state of Texas. We should almost change the state nickname to the Aggie State with the way it’s recruiting, because that shows that Texas A&M is not a fad. It’s becoming a program.
And it’s not going away due to the loss of Manziel. If the Aggies don’t match or surpass the production of last year, they won’t be more than one game off.

The team will be much better on defense, it might have the best kicking game in the SEC, and the offense has a ton of raw talent and Sumlin leading them. I’m sorry Johnny Football fans. Manziel might be a good NFL player, but he was much more a product of Sumlin than the other way around.
Hill could be just as good in this system, and the running game and offensive line should be better, not to mention there is a ton of great young talent at receiver. So yes, I’m making the bold prediction that the team will not miss Manziel.
An opening game at South Carolina, though, is still a likely loss with so much young talent and it being a road game. But they’ll still beat Arkansas, Missouri, and all four non-conference opponents for a guaranteed 6 wins. They’ll win at least one of the games against Mississippi State and Ole Miss, maybe both since they’re better than both, for a guaranteed 7 or 8 wins on the season, and they’re good enough to beat LSU, Alabama, and Auburn. At least one of those will be a win.
The Aggies will match last year’s record of 9-4, and watch out for the future. This is a program that has a national championship on the way within the next five years, and it’s way ahead of that other school in Austin.
