His defense remains awful, he’s stuck in the Big Ten, and despite being in the west, there’s nothing to suggest things will get much better this year. Beckman has a program improving each year ever so slightly, but it might take a step back this year.

The only saving grace is they get Purdue at home, so that should be a win. Otherwise, expect another year of losing, at least for this year.

At least they won’t be last in the new division.
